  Crack down on gambling video game arcade, Sex offenses and pornographic publication and to coordinate the city government to examine public security businesses, demolish unlicensed buildings. The administration police carry out the duties in accordance with the law and cooperate with the volunteer, mobile police station and convenience store as liaison to prevent crime problems.
 

 Public Order and Civil Defense Section

  Maintain the election public security, peace and order. Provide civil defense training, guard assistance. Enforce anti-terrorist plan and mountains region check plan. Manage the air-raid and asylum equipments. Assist the vagrants and the psychosis to hospitalize.
 

 Household Registration Section

  Manage and check census matters (such as floating population, missing people).boost the Six-Star plan (community security)
 

 Training Section

  Plan the police educational training (academic subjects, practical subjects), e-learning and invite scholars and professionals to give a speech. Develop on-the-job training to cultivate the police to enhance their service performance.
 

 Logistics Section

  Manage the procurement and General Affairs, floor maintenance, building construction, armory and Special Police Equipment.
 

 Foreign Affairs Section

  Seize the Human trafficking gang, and assist the mainland crew Emergency Shelter (located at Nanliao Harbor). This section is responsible for the management of safeguarding aliens and police criminal record certificate.
 

 Forensic Science Section

  This section is responsible for crime scene investigation and evidence examination. Laboratory staff is well-trained in photography, latent print development, evidence collection and crime scene reconstruction.
 

 Secretariat

  This office is responsible for the accurate production of documents, editing journal, gallery displaying, the management of general affairs, handling confidential communications and archiving.
 

 Inspectors' Office (Interior Affairs Section)

  The Internal Affairs Section receives and investigates citizen's complaints. The officers of this unit are also responsible for investigating officers' misconducts.
 

 Public Security Office

  This office is responsible for anti-espionage duties, protecting the safety of educational institutions, unraveling any acts that could sabotage national security.
 

 Accounting Office

  This office is responsible for the management of finances according to the fiscal years, accounting and statistical matters related to police department finances.
 

 Personnel Office

  The mission of the office is to manage personnel affairs according to the law.
 

 Information Management Office

  This office is responsible for the maintenance of the Department's computers and for improving officers' computer skills.
 

 Public Relations Office

  This office is responsible for the publication of newsletters, holding press conference and the communication with media.
 

 Criminal Investigation Brigade

  This squad is responsible for preventing criminal gangs, the investigation and eradication of hooliganism, the arrest of fugitives, providing a better understanding of crime prevention, safeguarding against contraventions of social discipline, suspects held in detention pending trial, eradicating drug use, illegal firearms and ammunition and robbery, establishing a complete surveillance of criminality and solving serious criminal case.
 

 Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Brigade

  This brigade is responsible for criminal cases involving juveniles. It also provides after school programs for school kids. This brigade also helps to allocate school dropouts.
 

 Women and Children Protection Brigade

  This brigade is responsible for the prevention and handling of domestic violence and sexual assaults, safeguarding the security of women and children.
 

 Traffic Brigade

  The mission of the Hsinchu City Police Traffic Unit is to promote expeditious traffic flow that enhances traffic safety for all residents of, and visitors to, the City of Hsinchu through vigorous enforcement of city and state traffic laws.
 

 Special Police Brigade

  This brigade is responsible for the security of the police department by controlling the access and by securing the department's front and rear entrances and the building's surroundings. Another mission of the Brigade is to train the Department's SWAT team and the peace preservation corps.
 

 Duty Command Center

  This center is responsible for dispatching police force and handling 911 calls. The center is equipped with the state-of-the-art computer-aided-dispatching system that can help minimize the responding time.
 

 Civil Defense Center

  This center is responsible for the maintenance of the equipment of civil defense to a high order, such air strike siren, implementing periodic civil defense practice.
